School Program Fees



BWDSB Student Overnight and Camping Program Fees

***For elementary groups, the BOEC pays for busing for overnight trips to and from the BOEC. No HST.

Residential Program
3-Day Residential Program               $108.00/student (includes busing, $20 for 2 nights in the dorms, $45 for 6 meals and 2 snacks, $43 for program)Teachers and parent chaperones only pay the $47 fee for food.
2-Day Residential Program               $71/student and $25/adult       


Camping Program
3-Day Camping Program                   $62.00/student  (includes$6.25 for breakfast) $6.25/adult. Teachers, students and parents responsible for food arrangements.
2-Day Camping Program                   $40/student (includes $6.25 for breakfast) and $6.25/adult


BWDSB Student Single Day Program Fees

For single day trips, each class is responsible for paying for their own busing. No HST.

Full Day On-Site Outreach                    $125/class
Half Day On-Site Outreach                    $75/class
Full Day Off-Site Outreach                    $175/class
Half Day Off-Site Outreach                   $125/class

ORCKA Basic Level 1                            $125/class plus $10/student

Other
Bluewater Astrononmical Society (BAS) Evening Program        $4.50/student  ** Remit payment by cheque to Bluewater Astronomical Society, payable night of program


Cancellation Fees

Residential/Camping
$50 if cancellation is made less than one month prior to the arrival date.
$100 if cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to the arrival date.

Catering Fees

Minimum Group Size:  18 people
Prices below include HST
3-Day Residential Program       $47.00/person  (includes 2 each of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack)
2-Day Residential Program         $25.00/person  (includes 2 each of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack)
Breakfast Only                          $5.50/person
Lunch Only                              $7.75/person
Dinner Only                             $7.75/person
Snack                                 $2.50/person


BWDSB Student Equpiment Rental Fees

Canoe, Throw Bag, Bailer         $4/day/canoe                 No HST
Paddle & PFD                         $2/day/person
Use of Trailer                         Free
Backpack                              $2/day/person
Tent                                    $5/day
GPS Units                             $2.50/day


Site Rentals by BWDSB – Meetings, Conferences, and/or Training Activities

These fees are for BWDSB student or staff conferences or meetings during the regular school week/season – any group insured by OSBIE.  Fees payable to the BWDSB – BOEC.  May or may not require staff support. No HST.  

Overnight Accommodations in Dorms
Minimum Group Size:  18 people    Maximum Group Size:  42 people (approx. 36 students)
Adults Chaperoning Student Functions Are Not Charged for Accommodations
One Night                                              $10/person       
Two Nights                                      $20/person
Overnight rentals include dormitory accommodations, washrooms, custodial services during regular business hours, water testing, use of kitchen and dining hall, use of grounds for approved uses.

Minimum Group Size:  15 people    Maximum Group Size:  42 people (approx. 36 students)
Adults Chaperoning Student Functions Are Not Charged for Accommodations
One Night                                              $5/person
Two Nights                                      $10/person
Included in Stay: campground accommodations, porta-potties, on-site staff, custodial services during regular business hours, water jugs filled at main site, access to main site for emergency use, use of  Spry Lake cabin, use of grounds for approved uses.

Day Use
Kitchen and Dining Hall                    $125/group (catered groups, or groups using kitchen)
Dining Hall, No Kitchen Access          $75/group
Barn                                            $75/group
Classrooms                                   $50 each/group
Whole Site                                            $325/group/day, plus form fees, if overnight
Day Use Staff Monitor Fee               $100/group/day/staff person provided
Additional fees may apply if more than one area is being used, and a staff member is necessary.

Catering
Minimum Group Size:  20 people
Special fees may be set by the Caterer if there are special requests or unusually large groups.
